Delivery Methods

Best Furniture Online have large warehouse premises along with the Indigo Home & Gift showrooms, and are able to carry large amounts of stock. On occasion, should the particular item not be in stock, it will be ordered from one of our UK suppliers and typical lead times would be approx 5/7 days . If your item is out of stock with our suppliers we will contact you.

For Online Furniture/Sofa orders within 30 miles, our own delivery team will be used and you will be offered a morning or afternoon slot to suite yourselves.  Our guys will place your furniture exactly where you want it.  All we ask is that you dispose of all packaging.

For Furniture/Sofa orders in excess of 30 miles of our Wirral warehouse, our two man delivery company Domestic Distribution will be used. This two man team will place the items in your preferred room of choice. Any deliveries made to room of your choice is at the customers risk and the company cannot be held responsible for any damage caused.

Giftware/Jewellery deliveries will be sent the next working day (if stock is available) via Royal Mail. Some heavier/more fragile items are only available for Click & Collect but if there is a specific item you want delivered, don't hesitate to get in touch and we will see what can be arranged.

Easy Return & Exchange of Online Orders

You can return your order for any reason as long as you let us know within 7 days of delivery as it must be returned to us within 10 days of receipt. All items need to be in their original, undamaged packaging and resell-able condition. Please note that if you return your order you are responsible until it is received by us and you are responsible for the return carriage charge.

In the unlikely event of furniture being faulty or damaged please click here to contact us give us a call on 0151 334 2118 within 24 hours to report the matter. To understand the extent of damages, digital images of faults will need to be sent to We will immediately make arrangements for an exchange of the item or offer a full refund. All original packaging must be kept until you are entirely happy with your purchase as all returns must be in original packaging, for Quality Control purposes.

Best Furniture Online nor Indigo Home & Gift are not responsible for returned items being damaged in transit. Your statutory rights are not affected. You should telephone or email the store and we will obtain an estimate for the return carriage charge.

In-Store Orders

Once a deposit has been paid and an item has been ordered specifically for you and we have taken delivery of your order into our warehouse, this item cannot be returned or exchanged and a refund will not be offered.


  • Under the ‘Distance Selling Act’ you have the right to return your order. However in the event of cancellation, the customer will incur a £45.00 handling charge that will be taken from the refund total. The handling charge will apply for non-faulty items being returned or if the item does not fit as it is the responsibility of the customer to check measurements before making an order.

  • Bespoke items manufactured specifically for a customer (sofas in a fabric chosen by the customer and made to order etc) cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  • Please note that if your order has been passed to our transport company for processing and you cancel your order we are unable to refund your delivery charge.

Please note that the standard delivery charges apply to all UK Mainland postcodes except the following, these carry a small surcharge. This will be calculated after you have placed your order, if you are unhappy with this charge then an immediate refund will be made.
